El Pueblo Bonaire

Latest News:

1.      Four homes have SOLD: lots 10, 11, 12 and 14!!  House 11 is beautifully finished and has been delivered to the owner.  10 &  12 are nearing completion and will be “Move-in Ready” by mid-May.

2.      All community roads, driveways, and sidewalks for each of the above properties are finished.

3.      We are currently laying the electric and public water mains for each of the new properties.

The letter below comes from an inspired artist visiting Bonaire and writing about her experience at El Pueblo on a recent trip from the US:  an interesting and in-depth perspective about the homes and community that could someday be yours.

As I meandered peacefully around El Pueblo, making notes of all the great changes and growth of our community, the sound of Van Morrison’s “Into the Mystic” floated around in my mind like the tides of the Caribbean.  I thought to myself, “Geez, I’m one lucky woman”.  It has been tremendous to watch El Pueblo and the new Model “Casa” come to life here on this paradise island!  There are winding roads lined by perfect little stone walkways and groovy, modern street lamps, all wrapped in the arms of the “kunuku” and serenity of the wide open, blue-green ocean.

I was kindly welcomed with a smile and a very nice cup of coffee as I entered through the grand arch of our finished Model Home.  When I opened the front door and stepped inside, I couldn’t believe that the drawings and ideals of such an amazing project had finally sprung to life.  It was more comforting and peaceful than I could have ever imagined.  Sure, all of the rooms are very well furnished, equipped with A/C and garner eclectic, interesting artwork; but what struck me the most was that the sweet ocean air had already found it’s way home, breathing life into the constructs.  As I stepped down into the breezy, wide-open living room, my eyes were filled with the panorama of Bonaire’s endlessly gorgeous, light blue waters.  Of course I needed to give a “test drive” of the brand new, full sized deck bed by the pool, just to be sure that my notes about the view and overall comfort of the place were accurate.  I may have closed my eyes for just a few minutes and drifted off, but don’t tell the boss.

Well, as much as I would have liked to stay there for the rest of the day (or month, for that matter), I was excited to see all of the progress with the other houses as well.  With five more homes nearly finished, I wondered if I would be able to catch the same “vibe” with those, as I had at the Model Home.  You know what?  I didn’t.  Surprisingly enough, each and every house had it’s OWN “vibe”: distinct, comfortable, beautiful.  Each home really felt like was it’s own.  And that’s when I realized the truest gifts of living at El Pueblo.   There is serenity here.  There is privacy, with community.  But most of all, there is choice.  There are options for living in the type of house that virtually anyone would dream to call home.  Whether it’s to have your swimming pool meet your ocean view, or have it on the side, leaving only the wide open blue, green at your terrace.  Maybe you like the feel of walking through your front door and being immediately embraced by the ocean with one flowing, level floor plan.  Or maybe a welcome home is stepping down, like in the Model Home, into the comfort and privacy of a sunken living room with its own unparalleled views.  We can’t tell you what type of home is best for you.  But what we can do is give you beautiful, well-built options.   So, I guess the best way to discover YOUR dream house is to come by, see and feel El Pueblo for yourself.  But be careful, that deck bed is trouble!
